Australia Day Book Giveaway

To celebrate Australia Day, Booked Out Blog is hosting a Book Giveaway Blog Hop – let’s see: 50 or so blogs means 50 or so books to be given away: now that’s a celebration!

If you’re a regular reader you’ll know that I’m already hosting a Name the Character competition for Rescue on Nim’s Island, but the deadline for that has been extended to Feb 28 – and the winners won’t receive that book till it’s published in July – so I decided to come up with something different for this one.

So… for your chance to win a signed copy of Ark in the Park, which was illustrated by the wonderful Kerry Millard, and was the CBCA Book of the Year for Younger Readers in 1995, simply comment on this blog and tell me: what do the letters CBCA stand for? The winner will be chosen by random from the correct entries.

Entries close at midnight Jan 28. (Australian time – but we can make it Western Australian to be fair.)
The winner will be announced Jan 29.

And if you want to read more of my blogs – generally about writing, or what’s happening in the world of my books or the Nim movies – feel free to subscribe on the link above.

And when you’re done, have a look at the links for all the other great giveaways on the link above.
Good luck!

  21. Wendy Orr Stacey & Stephen - I'm so thrilled to hear that you read to your son every day. Babies absorb so much at this very young age, the rhythms of language as well as their parents' voices - and of course, that wonderful, bonding, comforting routine. Wonderful!
