‘Nim at Sea’ birthday!

Well, this is what I’ve been working on for much of the last 18 months. I seemed to be fiddling around with words and editing right up to the wire, but the Australian edition is done now, and reaches the shops in the morning. The US edition won’t be out for about another year, I’m not sure of the date yet. (And though there’s been quite a bit of interest, and a bit of negotiating, we haven’t signed for any other editions yet – with a bit of luck I’ll be able to report on a couple of them soon.)

So I’m still feeling very emotionally tied to this book, but one thing I can stand back and see is that the cover is lovely. And so are the internals; I always love Kerry Millard’s work, but this time I think it’s exceptional.
