Across the Dark Sea – on the NSW Premier’s shortlist!

What a thrill to discover that Across the Dark Sea has been shortlisted for the NSW Premier’s Community Relations Commission Award!

The book is a testament to the courage of the people who, directly or indirectly, shared their stories with me, but it was wonderful to see that some of the other books on the list are written by the people who’ve lived the same or similar experiences. It’s quite humbling, as well as an honour to be there with them.
